New to our Honeybee Lash collection is our Lash Lift Kit. This kit is perfect for the client who has developed an allergy to lash extensions or just wants a more natural look by enhancing their natural lashes.

The Honeybee Lash Lift Kit comes with the following:

  • 5ml bottle of perm solution
  • 5ml bottle of setting solution
  • 5ml bottle of lash nutrition
  • 5ml bottle of lash cleanser
  • 1 bottle of Lash Lift Clear Adhesive
  • 5 pairs of silicone rods
  • 3 Y Brushes
  • 10 micro swab applicators
  • 5 mascara wands

Here is a step-by-step guide to Lifting Lashes

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

  • Honeybee Lash Lift Kit
  • Sticky eye gel pads
  • Timer
  • Q-Tips
  • Makeup removal pads
  • Medical Grade Gloves

Step 2: Clean Clients Lashes

It is critical to make sure your clients' lashes are clean and free of makeup. This step is very important because any residue might obstruct the lifting process. After cleaning, fully dry lashes.

Step 3: Determine Which Size of Silicone Rod to Use

There are multiple sizes of Lash Lift Rods, to determine the size of the rod needed take the small rod and place the rod above the eyelashes on the lash line. Do not apply any glue to the rod yet. You are just testing the length of the eyelashes. Take an applicator and bend the eyelashes across the rod to see if the eyelashes go all the way across the rod. The eyelashes need to extend completely across the rod. If the eyelashes go only part way across the rod, the eyelashes will not get a dramatic curl. It is alright if the tips of the eyelashes go slightly over the rod, but you do not want the eyelashes to go too far over the rod. Test each rod size to find the perfect fit.

Step 4: Brush Out the Eyelashes

Before you glue the eyelashes to the lash lift rod, brush out the eyelashes with a disposable mascara wand. It is important that the eyelashes are straight.

Step 5: Secure the Lower Lashes

A lash lift is performed on the upper eyelashes, not the lower. Before starting the lash lift, secure the lower eyelashes by placing a sticky eye gel pad over the lower eyelashes. This keeps the lower eyelashes from accidentally getting curled up with the upper lashes.

Step 6: Apply the Lash LIft Rod

After you have determined which size of rod to use, it is time to attach the rods to the lash line. To attach the rods, hold the rod upside down and then apply lash lift clear adhesive to the bottom of the rod. Immediately place the rod right on the lash line above the eyelashes.

Step 7: Attach the Eyelashes to the Lash Lift Rod with Y Brush

To attach the eyelashes to the lash lift rod with the Y Brush. In a step-by-step process, apply the lash lift clear adhesive to 1⁄3 of the rod. Then take a micro swab applicator and slowly press the eyelashes across the rod in an upwards motion with Y Brush. Make sure to go slow so the eyelashes have time to adhere to the rod.

Once the eyelashes are attached to the rod, apply lash lift clear adhesive to the second part of the rod and slowly repeat the application.

Note: It is important to apply the eyelashes to only ⅓ of the rod at a time so the adhesive does not dry before the eyelashes are applied to the entire rod.

Once the eyelashes are applied to the rod, repeat the same steps to the other eye.

Step 8: Apply Perm Solution to Eyelashes

Now that all of the eyelashes are attached to the rod, it is time to apply the Perm Solution to the eyelashes. Refer to the Perm Solution instructions for recommended processing time with clients lash type. Most processing times are between 5 - 15 minutes with an average time of 10 minutes.

Apply perm solution to the bottom half of the eyelashes with a disposable applicator. Apply the solution to the bottom half for the first half of the processing time - if your processing time is 10 minutes, apply the processing solution cream to the bottom half of the eyelashes for 5 minutes then after the first 5 minutes apply the solution to the top half of the eyelashes for the remaining 5 minutes. The tips of the eyelashes are thinner and applying the solution to only the bottom half of the eyelashes first will help prevent over-processing the tips of the eyelashes.

It is important to keep track of the time with a timer so you do not over-process the eyelashes.

After the Perm Solution has processed, wipe the solution off with a Q-Tip. Make sure to gently wipe the solution off so that the eyelash does not detach from the rod.

Step 9: Setting Solution

Apply the Setting Solution to the eyelashes in accordance with the instructions on the Setting Solution. Apply the Setting Solution to the entire eyelash.  The Setting Solution neutralizes the Perm Solution. After the instructed time on the Setting Solution is over, (between 6 to 8 minutes) remove from the eyelashes with a Q-Tip.

Step 10: Remove Eyelashes from the Rod

Take a moist Q-Tip and gently rub the eyelashes on the rod back and forth until the eyelashes detach from the rod. Use a Q-Tip or makeup removal pad and slowly rub under the rods back and forth until the rods come off the skin. Remove any remaining adhesive with Lash Nutrition cream on a makeup removal pad.

Step 11: Lash Nutrition cream

After the rod has been removed, apply Nutrition to eyelashes.

And that’s it! Now your client will have dramatically curly eyelashes for 6-8 weeks!
